The Alliance Française today is present in 133 countries, with 1075 committees and 800 schools. Each year 444 000 students attend for lessons. Everywhere, it brings together lovers of French language and culture and works alongside other cultural institutions.
Founded in 1981, the Alliance Française de Rouen-Normandie (Comité Départemental de la Seine Maritime) is a non profit-making association under local law, whose dual mission is the teaching of the French language and the spreading of French-speaking culture.
The Alliance Française welcomes each year, from 70 different countries, 600 students at its Rouen and Le Havre schools.
Today Annick Delpech, who has devoted her career to the Alliance Française, presides over the Association. She leads a team of volunteers who are open to cultural diversity. This Association brings together friends of French-speaking communities which you can support by your membership.
To achieve its goals, the Alliance Française depends on a motivated teaching and administrative team, readily available at all times to answer administrative and personal questions. |
