GENERAL CONDITIONS
ADMISSION
To be admitted to the school, candidates must be at least 18 years of age and meet the French legal requirements for a stay in France. Candidates between 16 and 18 years of age may be admitted with parental consent. The school cannot be held responsible for difficulties in obtaining a long-stay visa or carte de séjour.
REGISTRATION FEES
The total for registration fees is 70 euros per year. This total includes documentation provided to the student.
METHODS OF REGISTRATION
PRE-REGISTRATION :
To register, you only need to send the following documents by mail, fax or email :
- completed registration form and payment of
• 270 euros deposit for less than 3 months of courses (includes registration fee)
• 470 euros deposit for more than 3 months of courses (includes registration fee)
• 50 euros administration fee where accommodation is requested
NB: The pre-registration deposits for the courses are deducted from the school fees, but are not refundable.
Upon receiving the request, the school will send by return mail a certificate of pre-registration. Accommodation addresses are communicated no later than one week prior to the student’s arrival.


ON SITE ENROLMENT
It is possible to register at the school itself and pay the registration and school fees prior to taking the first course, preferably in the week preceding the first day of the course.

CONFIRMATION OF REGISTRATION
Students must complete the confirmation process at the school no later than the Monday morning of their first class. It is necessary to bring the following documents :
- One piece of identification: identity card, carte de séjour, a passport with a visa valid for the duration of the studies.
- Two identity-card sized photos
- The receipt for payment of fees and the certificate of pre-registration.
Students who are not beginners must do an assessment test (online or at the Alliance) in order that they may be placed in a class corresponding to their skill level.
In the event of payment by bank cheque or postal order, the student must submit their payment within 2 weeks from the online pre-registration.
CHANGES
The school reserves the right to cancel a course where numbers are insufficient.
INSURANCE
Sickness, accident and personal liability insurances are obligatory and are the responsibility of the student.
CANCELLATIONS
In situations of cancellation, registration fees, accommodation administration fees, course fees and amounts paid are neither refundable nor transferable (except in situations of force majeure, see 'Course Payments').
COURSE PAYMENT
Payments for courses are due at the beginning of the month and are not refundable in the event of absence or early departure,except in situations of force majeure (serious illness, death of close relative, accident) substantiated by documentation. They can be carried forward for a period of 4 months maximum, upon written request received by the school at least 2 weeks prior to the planned course date. To take advantage of discounted longer duration rates, the courses must be taken continuously and total due must be all paid at one time. For payments by transfer, bank fees are the responsibility of the student.
In case of dispute only the tribunal of Rouen has jurisdiction.
